Pfeiffer & Son, Ltd. proudly entered into the Physical Security & Access Control market in 2006 with the deployment of a $20M project for the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas (Metro).  This project included gate operators, wireless networks, emergency assistance systems, paging systems, surveillance cameras with analytics and storage, and fiber/copper networks to support it all.  These were all deployed over 26 Park-and-Ride and Transit Center facilities across the region.

Since this initial deployment, we have continued to provide the same service to Metro, as well as having expanded into serving the City of Houston Police Department, various industry customers, local school districts, as well as smaller commercial customers.

Our projects range from a small-scale surveillance system for a construction lay-down yard to as large as a city-wide License Plate Recognition system, connected by wireless networks from ground level nodes to water towers and other aerials.  We are able to meet your needs at whatever scale.
